silverline hinged lids - robustness and functionality in one
Logistics and warehousing systems using the durable and convenient plastic containers of the silverline EURO-NORM series offer numerous benefits to businesses, which is why they have become standard equipment in many of them. The purpose of the lids is to protect the inside of the containers from dirt and the effects of external/atmospheric conditions, such as humidity and sunlight.
Safety and comfort
Thanks to a hinge mechanism, the one-piece cover is permanently attached to the box, minimising the risk of it being lost or damaged during handling. This type of lid is particularly suitable for dynamic working environments where efficiency is key. Similar solutions also increase safety for specialised products such as EURO-NORM ESD containers (using ESD-compatible lids).
Robust construction
Like silverline boxes, the hinged lids are made of extremely tough polypropylene copolymer (PP-C). The hinges are designed to withstand repeated use and ensure long-lasting functionality even in demanding industrial environments.
Optimisation of the work process
The ability to open and close the container quickly saves time and simplifies work processes. This is particularly beneficial for operations with a high turnover of goods, such as assembly lines or distribution centres using different intralogistics boxes.
Security
Hinged lids can be fitted with holes for the use of seals or locks, increasing the security of the goods being transported or stored. Some variants can also have integrated handles for easy opening.
