Basicline hinged covers - key benefits and applications
In adverse storage or transport conditions, hinged plastic lids matching the EURO-NORM basicline series come to the rescue, guaranteeing an optimum level of security. Fastened to the containers with two hinges, they enable easy opening and closing. They can be fitted to all plastic containers with the dimensions indicated.
Material and assembly
The covers are made of durable polypropylene (PP-C). They are often supplied with pre-installed mounting hardware (hinges, latches) for easy installation on compatible universal plastic boxes from the basicline series.
Application
Tilt lids are particularly useful where frequent access to the contents of the box is required, for example during order picking or material replenishment. They are ideal for boxes used in intralogistics.
Hinged lid principle
The lids are attached to the box by a set of hinges (and often spring-loaded latches for locking). This makes them easy to open and close with one hand, and the lid remains an integral part of the box and cannot get lost.
